Why Waluigi should be in Smash

Reason 1: Huge Fan Support

This one is pretty obvious. Waluigi most likely wasn't added at release because the roster for non-DLC characters was decided a couple years ago and while there was still support for him back then there is way more now. Also they just pretty recently decided who the DLC characters would be so there is a pretty high chance that after seeing how many people want him that he will be added. Also, after seeing what happened with Ridley no matter how impossible it might seem for a character to be in the roster if there is enough fan support it will eventually happen.

Reason 2: He is the main Antagonist of 2 games

Waluigi is the main antagonist of Mario Party 3 and Dance Revolution Mario Mix. While these games are technically spin off games Daisy is also only in spin off games. While I do think Daisy was a good addition to the roster she is not an important character in any of them while Waluigi, like I said before, is the main bad guy in two of them.

Reason 3: He is in over 60 games

He has been in a ton of games. Most of the games he has been in are from games of the series Mario Tennis, Mario Party, Game and Watch Gallery, Mario Golf, Mario Kart, Mario Baseball, Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix, Mario Strikers, Mario Hoops 3-on-3, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and Super Smash Bros (As an Assist Trophy).

 

 

Reason 4: Most of the games he is in have very little if any representation in Smash Ultimate

He is in a lot of pretty big games such as Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario Tennis Aces and many more. They are very popular games and have almost no representation in Smash other than some spirits or other small things like a stage or something. Waluigi's moveset could represent lots of the Mario Sports and other spin off Mario games.

 

 

Reason 5: Popularity as a Character

Even though he may not play a huge part in a lot of Mario games he is still extremely popular. If you were to get a bunch of random people that don't play any Mario Games and quiz them on which Mario Characters they have seen before most people would know Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach, Wario, Donkey Kong and finally Waluigi. He is just one of those Mario Characters that everyone knows about. Also notice how every one of those people are in Smash except for Waluigi.

Reason 6: Moveset Potential

Many people don't think this but he has great moveset potential. He could have a lot of moves from games like Mario Tennis, Mario Cart, Mario Party and many others.

Reason 7: He is Literally one of the 4 main Mario People

Along with Mario, Luigi and Wario he is literally one of the main Mario people.

Reason 8: He is Reggie's Main in Mario Tennis Aces

The title kind of explains itself.

Reason 9: Piranha Plant made it over him

Piranha Plant is my favorite newcomer so far but it is also literally just a plant.
